Influenster Holiday 12' Voxbox

Hey everyone!

 So after recieving my complimentary Crest 3d White box from Influenster  I was so stoked to find out that I would ALSO be getting the Holiday Voxbox in the mail as well!  Let me just start off by saying, wow. I was so impressed with the items I receieved from last months Voxbox that it will be a breeze to complete all of the challenges and tasks that have been set out for us.

What else was in my amazing box of goodies you ask? Well, I receieved a really neat brush from Goody called the Goody Quikstyle Brush which I was quite intrigued by. A very decent sized cup of Quaker Real Medley Oatmeal +  in Peach Almond +! I also found a free sample of EBOOST drink mix, which is a natural energy powder made from tea extracts in the flavor Acai Pomegranate (which I am obsessed about! So yummy) There was also a FULL SIZED NYC New York Liquid Color Lipshine which I had not gotten my hands on yet in the color 582 Nude York City. I honestly love recieving cosmetics in the mail and NYC is definitley in my top 10 favorites brands! Last but certainly not least, and quite possibly my favorite item in the entire 2012 Holiday Voxbox was.....The Kiss Nail Dress which is quite literally an amazing sticker for your nails! I have been a huge fan of these for months now and was so excited to recieve a pattern that I did not yet have!

Crest 3D White Strips-Taking the Challenge!

Hey Everyone!,

 So as the tittle states, I did take the Crest 3D White Challenge! The product was kindly sent to me by  Influenster , a survey/review invite only based website that I have been apart of for a few months now. This was the first product I have ever recived from the company and I admit, I was excited!

 I am sure most of you have heard of or even tried a bleaching or strip of some kind to whiten your teeth at one time or another and just like me, you are a bit skeptical. Well, I am here to tell you about my experience with the product and even have a few handy pictures to show you at the end.

 First Use:
 I found the product was easy enough to apply but I will say, keep a tissue nearby because you will drool on yourself during the 30 minute duration for the bleaching to take affect.

Three Day Mark:
 The product states that most users noticed a significant difference in the whiteness of their teeth after just 3 days of using the Crest Strips. I however, have 2 things to say to this statement. 1-Without telling my roommate about starting the strips, on the three day mark (oddly enough) I was told that they had noticed that my smile looked different but had not wanted to randomly draw attention to the fact that they had been staring at my teeth. (Creeper) After explaining what I was doing, it was clear to an outside perspective that the whitening WAS infact making a difference. However, point 2-I did not notice a difference until perhaps a week later. I chalk this up to the fact that I look at myself everyday and therefor did not notice a subtle difference that perhaps would have been more noticable if I had avoided mirrors for a few days.

 Final Thoughts:
 Although there are still 2 days left in my challenge (because I started late as explained in my video post a week ago) I unfortunatly do not have the beautiful white smile I had hoped for but before you decide against this product let me explain.

 My teeth yes, have staining from coffee, tea, soda, ect. but I also have large staining on my 2 front teeth from when I was just a baby. I was what is called a Jondus Baby and what happend was the tubes that were down my throat pumping me full of antibodies and such actually permanantly stained my adult teeth in the gums. They have been stained like this since they came in at 8 years old and there really is nothing short of actuall bleaching that will fix this. On that note, I did notice that the teeth beside my front ones did actually get a shade if not 2 brighter. I will say, if you have just light staining and nothing too intense, this product will work wonders for you.

 I am very greatfull to Crest and Influenster for providing me with the opportunnity to try this product out and bring an honest review to you all. I quite enjoyed my resulsts and will certainly recommend this product to everyone looking for a easy fix.

Spice Cake Muffins

Hey everyone!

 So yes, it is now fall time and as we all know, it is my favorite season of all! I have done nothing but get pumpkin flavored coffee and burn fall scented candles for the past month and figured it was time to start baking more fall-esc type food. I found this spice cake mix at Publix a few days ago and of course forgot to pick up iceing... SO, I decided to make muffins instead.

 The ingrediants are super simple and pretty much everyone has these 3 things in their houshold.
-3 eggs
-water
-canola oil

The instructions on making the cake mix are exactly the same for muffins, except you are putting the batter into muffins cups rather than a cake pan. I cooked each pan for about 15min and they came out so moist and bouncy! One quick tip I would like to mention (thank you mom) before you go to put the muffins into the oven, sprinkle some sugar on the tops of a few. It adds a nice sweet taste to an otherwise spicey flavor.

Nail Of the Day-7/5/12

Hello my Cuties!

 So, today is my first ever nail of the day and it is actually a nail design that I attempted (and probably failed) from the newest cover of Seventeen magazine! You can't really see the design by looking at Shay Mitchell on the cover, but once you turn to her spread, you see these amazing stripped nails. Very tribal looking. So I decided to film a tutorial on them and I hope you all enjoy!
